How many guests join a photographic safari?
Our scheduled photographic safaris are kept small: between 1 and 6 guests, never more, so everyone has space, a window seat and personal time with the guides in the field.
How many guests can a tailor-made safari be planned for?
Any size, from 1 guest to groups of 10 or more. Tailor-made journeys are planned around your group, whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, with family or with friends.
Do I need to be an experienced photographer?
Not at all. Guidance is tailored to each guest, from getting the most out of your first camera to advanced techniques for experienced photographers.
Can you plan a tailor-made safari?
Yes. We design tailor-made safaris and journeys almost anywhere in the world for couples, families and small groups. We can plan and book everything for you to travel independently, or add a private guide for the whole journey. Use the form above to tell us what you have in mind.
Can a photographic safari be tailor-made?
Yes. If you’d like a specific location or your own dates, we can design a private photographic safari around you. Tell us where and when in the form above.
Can you arrange family safaris?
Yes. We plan family safaris with private vehicles, flexible days and lodges that genuinely welcome children, so everyone travels at a pace that suits them. Tell us your children’s ages and we’ll recommend the right camps and destinations.
Can you arrange honeymoons and special occasions?
Absolutely. Whether it’s a honeymoon, anniversary or milestone birthday, we design journeys with the privacy, setting and special touches that make the occasion unforgettable.
Can you combine multiple African countries?
Yes. Many of our journeys combine two or more countries, for example a safari followed by time on the Indian Ocean. We handle the routing, connections and timing so the journey flows naturally.
Can you arrange flights, transfers and logistics?
Yes. We arrange all travel on your itinerary, including scheduled regional flights, light-aircraft charters and road transfers, and can advise on international flights.
How far in advance should I book a tailor-made safari?
We recommend booking 6 to 12 months ahead, especially for peak season (June to October) and the festive season, when the best camps and guides fill up first. Shorter notice is often possible, so it’s always worth asking.
What is usually included?
Accommodation, meals, guiding, activities and park fees are typically included. International flights, visas and travel insurance are not. Each safari page lists the exact inclusions.
